Good game last night lads we thought ye would Hammer us.Pity about the Goal that wasnt given cause it took away from what was a great game at that level.I bet you John Conway would have given ye a chance to level even if the goal had stood.(ps it was a goal no question)
I dont know who is doin the ratings but in my book
The number 10 for ye was by far your best player.Even tho the old man brennan did well the number 10 who was moved out to wing forward was the man who did all the damage!
Good game.
Very sorry to here about the death in your area before the game.Best wishes go to the Family involved see you all for the replay in Ballyfin!

As a neutral referee that went over to the game last night with a friend of a friend from Ballyfin I have to say ye were the better team but that goal that wasnt given was a disgrace the Barrowhouse man beside me said it was a goal aswell the funny thing was the point Ballyfin got straight after was over the middle of the bar and the umpire(who was the only man in the field who said it wasnt a goal) showed his true form by trying to wave that wide aswell. In what was a sporting game the umpire could have ruined it.Ballyfin suprised me how well they played but God they made a mess of alot of Ball the small pitch didnt really suit them.Barrowhouse played better football and should have kicked alot more scores the Ballyfin keeper made 3 great saves to keep the Finn men in it.Very good game for Junior C level!Great to actually enjoy a game instead of reffing it or even doing umpire which i was asked to do before the game.
