Plenty of players with class and physicality is what we don't have. We did not earn the right to play intermediate football and getting beat week in week out wont bring on young footballers or increase training numbers. The few young lads that are coming through are good players but not ready for intermediate level.

its ridiculus to even think about droppin down any grade in league or championship. . how are we goin to get any better or develop our younger players by showing them its easyer to cop out and drop down rather than stay and fight hard 4 every win. In the portlaoise game there was literally a bounce of a ball between us and they went on to do well in the championship. also we have plenty of players with class and physicality. the younger players like darren luke james david are comin tru dis year and will do well. kbeg all da way ha

jesus you'd swear were a club that had nothin but success.! one bad year and all of a sudden we're dropping down grades, rather than slug it out in intermediate and get fair better experience. do yis honestly think we'd have instant success if we dropped back in back in junior A? we're gonna have to build AND take our beatings, and I'd rather get bad beatings in intermediate than junior A.

Well done to Barrowhouse U16's who played their socks off against Ballyroan Saturday last in o Moore Park Portlaoise. I didn't make it to the match myself unfortunately but I hear it was a skillful match full of passionate football, vicious tackles - true gaa! I'm more of a rugby fan myself but this truely converted me to a footballin' woman. hard luck Ballyroan but really there was never a doubt about the winners here, maybe next yr lads! well done Barrowhouse
